WEBSTER'S
DICTIONARY

.

Young spirit, invincible, sweet convictions,
undaunted
Like indelible garden roots of starkly green ferns
Alone, the peerless adversary amid fickle folly
Adrift in soured aftermath of delirious escapades, haunted
Fearful, the deceitful aria of joy lingers shortly
Flee, pretty bird, flee.

Frivolous souls dance upon the hill
Pursuing empty dreams,
unwanted
Coveted substantiality does elude the blundered trial
Deeper, deeper to the black hole
Closes the pimpernel.

Hope....the billowy breath that rides a timeless breeze
Rescued from brutal abandonment
Romantics committed to their guardian roles while
Relentless rosebuds,
flaunted
Peak to but a memory
Withered, yet returning, ageless
Like the spirit that skips between souls.
