WEBSTER'S
DICTIONARY

.

Wisps of sun cut through with warmth
And pierce mine eyes with radiance bright!
While momentary tweets 'til night
Send comrades here - I might.

While immense piles of labor dwindle
Pine cone reeks through burning leaves
And hickory burns the branching sleeves
Of summer lounging in the breeze.

No looming dolls' menagerie
Nor season's loss of will to play
While puppies cuddle in my stay
Amongst Fall's sweet bouquet.

Crisp paper and the dust of chalk
Replace within my wistful mind
Sand castles deftly left behind
And tumble to poet's grind.

Performance linking lack of cower
Accommodate the endless hours
Of acrobats and dare endower
Defying earth's grandest power.
