PRINT PREVIEW

This feature is not limited to viewing your document before printing. You can check the layout of your pages by choosing the "Multiple Pages" icon in "Print Preview."

The 25% and 10% in the drop down will show multiple pages, also. You will have a bird's eye view of the position of your chapter headings, the match up of text from page to page, and paragraph integrity.  You must have several pages typed for this to work. 

You need not exit "Print Preview" to edit. You can toggle the "Magnifier" icon between a blinking cursor in the document or the use of the magnifier. Once you have the blinking curser on a page, adjust the text so that they line up the way you want. You can even type in this mode.  Click the down arrow in the scroll bar to go to the next group of pages.

Are you ready?

Click "File," "Print Preview."

Click the "Multiple Pages" icon and choose a page view.  You will have to toggle between the "Multiple Page" and the "One Page" icons to obtain the amount of pages that you want in the preview.  Or choose a percentage.  Once that's done, glance through all of the pages using the down arrow in the scroll bar.  

zoom in for a closer look.  The "Magnifier" icon can be toggled between a blinking cursor and the magnifier.  

Click the "Magnifier" icon to obtain the blinking cursor. 

Click on the spot in the document where you want to place the cursor for making your corrections.  Do your editing.

Click the magnifier again to zoom in or

Click "Close" to return to the regular view of your document.
